POMPEII GUIDED TOURS: How visiting the excavation

LEGGI VERSIONE LA VERSIONE ITALIANA

Pompeii, the province of beautiful Naples in the region of Campania, is one of the most ancient cities in the world and the only one, along with Herculaneum, still preserved as it was in  Roman times..
Pompeii was founded 2000 years ago by a local population and became very famous during Roman times.
Discovered recently, it is one of the most visited archaeological sights in the world!

Nowadays, we must distinguish the ancient town from the new town which stands up above the first.

Visiting Pompeii is a great experience! You can walk  the same streets as the ancient Romans did. You can touch and feel the same senses they had living there 2000 years ago. You can join in their traditions. But visiting the city is not easy. The city is 8 miles in size! And furthermore, there are no street signs. Many tourists end up getting lost in the streets. This is the main reason why most visitors ask for a guide.
I am a professional and licensed guide. I have been working here for 6 years and I am used to showing people the best of the city in only a couple of hours and ending the tour with a refreshing shot of limoncello!
So…don't hesitate…contact me to reserve your tour in the most famously preserved city of Romans times in the world!Just send an email to fabiocomella@alice.it

  2. I have just visited Pompeii, and it has been the most beautiful experience. So much history in such a little city! But a very important thing was that we didn't just see, but we found out every detail about every part of Pompeii. I have felt like I was there, like I was living 2000 years ago... and that's because we had a tour guide... my favourite one!!! Thank you, Fabio!
